“Great location, perfect house for a holiday.”

Reviewed 18 October 2012 for a stay in September 2012

The house is located in a small village that has a supermarket, 2 * Boulangeries, 2 * butchers, chemist, fresh produce shops, post office and 3 or 4 hotels with restaurants. The house itself has all the amenities that you would need to be self contained if you want to cook at home. It also has satellite TV so you can catch up on the News in English. The house is comfortable and clean and has great views across the mountains. It is ideally located within walking minutes of the village and a walled city - Domme and the Dordogne river. You can hire canoes at the river. We were there for 2 weeks and spent each day driving to different attractions and we didn't have enough time to do it all! We would definitely use the house again if we went back to the area.
